Diesel-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in Sweden

Diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 11.5% in 2022 in Sweden, according to ACEA. This is 28.4% less than in the previous year.

Historically, diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Sweden reached an all time high of 66.8% in 2012 and an all time low of 0.600% in 1990.

Sweden has been ranked 23rd within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold.
