Based on a comparison of 19 countries in 2Q2014, Italy ranked the highest in compensation of employees in EUR terms with EUR 167,473 mil followed by Spain and Netherlands. On the other end of the scale was Malta with EUR 851 mil, Estonia with EUR 2,338 mil and Latvia with EUR 2,538 mil.
