Coconut oil production reached 8,000 tonnes in 2002 in Japan, according to Faostat. This is 61.9% less than in the previous year.
Historically, coconut oil production in Japan reached an all time high of 94,000 tonnes in 1972 and an all time low of 8,000 tonnes in 2002.
