Based on a comparison of 130 countries in 2018, China ranked the highest in CO2 Emissions from Coal with 1,309 million metric tonnes carbon dioxide followed by India and USA. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 0.009 million metric tonnes carbon dioxide, Fiji with 0.038 million metric tonnes carbon dioxide and Cyprus with 0.035 million metric tonnes carbon dioxide.
