Based on a comparison of 17 countries in 2016, Italy ranked the highest in chicks of laying hen breeds with 5,803 chicks followed by Netherlands and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was Spain with -6,455 chicks, France with -3,200 chicks and Latvia with 0 chicks.
