Chemical wood pulp production reached 1,434 kt in 2015 in Taiwan, according to Faostat. This is 4.98% more than in the previous year.

Historically, chemical wood pulp production in Taiwan reached an all time high of 1,868 kt in 1997 and an all time low of 616 kt in 1961.
