Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2016, Malta ranked the highest in number of dairy cows with 6,498 '000 followed by Turkey and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 27.0 '000, Cyprus with 28.5 '000 and Luxembourg with 52.0 '000.
