Bank loans to general government reached USD 1,602 bil in 2011 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.63% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans to general government in the European Union reached an all time high of USD 1,715 bil in 2010 and an all time low of USD 753 bil in 2001.
