Bank loans to general government reached PKR 1,990 bil in 2020 in Pakistan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.47% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans to general government in Pakistan reached an all time high of PKR 2,034 bil in 2018 and an all time low of PKR 493 bil in 2011.
