Bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities reached 42.2% in 2023 in Latvia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 20.8% more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Latvia reached an all time high of 65.6% in 2011 and an all time low of 18.0% in 2008.
