Bank deposits as a share of gdp reached 101% in 2012 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 15.8% more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank deposits as a share of GDP in the European Union reached an all time high of 154% in 2001 and an all time low of 74.9% in 2008.
