Female asylum applicants reached 575 persons in 2014 in Cyprus, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 29.2% more than in the previous year.
Historically, female asylum applicants in Cyprus reached an all time high of 1,085 persons in 2009 and an all time low of 445 persons in 2013.
