Asylum Applicants (As % of Population)

Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2014, Sweden ranked the highest in asylum applicants as a percentage of total population with 0.848% followed by Hungary and Austria. On the other end of the scale was Portugal with 0.004%, Slovakia with 0.006% and Romania with 0.007%.
