Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2008, Germany ranked the highest in air emissions from carbon dioxide from biomass used as a fuel arising from transport activities by h with 3,484 kt followed by France and Sweden. On the other end of the scale was Latvia with 5.73 kt, Luxembourg with 13.8 kt and Slovenia with 48.0 kt.
