4x4 drive cars as a share of new cars sold reached 16.4% in 2016 in Iceland, according to ACEA. This is 8.67% more than in the previous year.

Historically, 4x4 drive cars as a share of new cars sold in Iceland reached an all time high of 49.4% in 2009 and an all time low of 12.5% in 2014.
