Turkish banking sector provided customer loans of TRY 2,209 bil in 2017, up 20.6% when compared to the last year.
Ziraat Bank accounted for 15.2% of all customer loans issued in Turkey at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in customer loans reached an all time high of 32.9% in 1960 and an all time low of 7.86% in 2003.
That's compared to a 14.0% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
