Historically, youth dependency ratio in Brazil reached an all time high of 83.8% in 1963 and an all time low of 24.8% in 2022. When compared to Brazil's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Bolivia amounted to 46.3%, 33.9% in Peru and 34.2% in Venezuela in 2022.
Brazil has been ranked 118th within the group of 174 countries we follow in terms of youth dependency ratio, 14 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
