Historically, youth dependency ratio in Sierra Leone reached an all time high of 83.4% in 2002 and an all time low of 60.6% in 2022. When compared to Sierra Leone's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Burkina Faso amounted to 74.3%, 65.7% in Guinea, 65.3% in Liberia and 89.5% in Mali in 2022.
