Historically, workers' remittances received in the European Union reached an all time high of USD 134,320 mil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 1,388 mil in 1970. When compared to European Union's main peers, workers' remittances received in China amounted to USD 22,483 mil, USD 5,291 mil in Japan, USD 9,647 mil in Russia and USD 6,899 mil in USA in 2021.
