Based on a comparison of 9 banks among Indonesian Financials in 2019, Bank Tabungan Negara was the largest mortgage lender, followed by Bank Central Asia and Maybank Indonesia.
Bank Tabungan Negara's mortgage loans reached IDR 192,192 bil, up from IDR 170,079 bil compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s mortgage loans reached an all time high of IDR 192,192 bil in 2019 and an all time low of IDR 55,173 bil in 2012.
At the end of 2019, mortgage loans represented 77.0% of Bank Tabungan Negara's loan book.
Comparing Bank Tabungan Negara with its closest peers, Bank Central Asia's mortgage loans amounted to IDR 93,656 bil at the end of 2019, Maybank Indonesia operated with IDR 6,049 bil mortgage loans and Bank Danamon had a mortgage loan book of IDR 2,850 bil at the end of 2019.
