Based on a comparison of 18 banks among Indonesian Financials in 2019, Bank Rakyat was the largest deposit taker, followed by Bank Mandiri and Bank Central Asia.
Bank Rakyat's customer deposits reached IDR 1,021,200 bil, up from IDR 944,269 bil, compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of IDR 1,021,200 bil in 2019 and an all time low of IDR 49,217 bil in 2000.
Comparing Bank Rakyat with its closest peers, Bank Mandiri's deposits amounted to IDR 933,125 bil at the end of 2019, Bank Central Asia operated with IDR 704,795 bil of customer deposits and Bank Negara had clients' deposits of IDR 614,311 bil at the end of 2019.
