Based on a comparison of 13 banks among Indonesian Financials in 2019, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional was the best capitalised bank, followed by Bank Central Asia and Bank Danamon.
Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional's capital adequacy ratio reached 40.9%, down from 40.9% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 40.9% in 2018 and an all time low of 19.9% in 2015.
Comparing Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional with its closest peers, Bank Central Asia ended the year 2019 with a capital adequacy ratio at 24.6%, Bank Danamon with 24.2% and Panin Bank some 23.4% at the end of 2019.
