Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2019, Denmark ranked the highest in pharmaceutical consumption of analgesics with DDD 96.1 followed by Norway and Sweden. On the other end of the scale was Greece with DDD 1.40, Latvia with DDD 6.50 and Hungary with DDD 8.30.
