Based on a comparison of 11 banks among Raiffeisen New Europe in 2017, Raiffeisen Bank Hungary operated with the lowest loan to deposit ratio, followed by Raiffeisen Stavebni Sporitelna and Raiffeisenbank Serbia.
Raiffeisen Bank Hungary's loan to deposit ratio reached 60.0% at the end of 2017, down from 63.0% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 138% in 2000 and an all time low of 60.0% in 2017.
Comparing Raiffeisen Bank Hungary with its closest peers, Raiffeisen Stavebni Sporitelna ended the year 2017 with loans to deposits at 68.0%, Raiffeisenbank Serbia with 68.5% and Raiffeisen Stambena Stedionica some 72.7% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.
