Based on a comparison of 12 banks among Indonesian Financials in 2019, Bank Central Asia operated with the lowest loan to deposit ratio, followed by Bank Permata and Bank Rakyat.
Bank Central Asia's loan to deposit ratio reached 84.6% at the end of 2019, down from 85.9% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 85.9% in 2018 and an all time low of 4.36% in 1999.
Comparing Bank Central Asia with its closest peers, Bank Permata ended the year 2019 with loans to deposits at 85.3%, Bank Rakyat with 85.8% and Bank OCBC Nisp some 90.7% of loans to deposits at the end of 2019.
