Based on a comparison of 167 countries in 2012, Qatar ranked the highest in five years cumulative net migration as a percentage of population with 39.4% followed by Oman and Lebanon. On the other end of the scale was Syria with -7.53%, East Timor with -7.21% and Guyana with -4.24%.
