Total soybean oil production reached 41,962 kt in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.66 % less than in the previous year and 26.9 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total soybean oil production reached an all time high of 42,659 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 3,037 kt in 1961. The average annual growth amounted to 5.08 % since 1961.
The top ranked country, China, accounted for 27.9 % of soybean oil production in the world. The top 3 countries hold a 68.8 % share while the ten largest countries some 96.2 % in 2014.
