Total linseed oil production reached 567,671 tonnes in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 0.503 % more than in the previous year and -3.01 % less than 10 years ago.
Historically, total linseed oil production reached an all time high of 1,056,018 tonnes in 1971 and an all time low of 507,140 tonnes in 2009. The average annual growth amounted to -0.760 % since 1961.
The top ranked country, China, accounted for 34.5 % of linseed oil production in the world. The top 3 countries hold a 73.6 % share while the ten largest countries some 111 % in 2014.
