Which Country Produces the Most Kerosene?

Based on a comparison of 82 countries in 2014, Japan ranked the highest in kerosene production with 291 '000 bpd followed by Spain and India. On the other end of the scale was Jamaica with 0.021 '000 bpd, Myanmar with 0.021 '000 bpd and Senegal with 0.021 '000 bpd.

Total kerosene production reached 1,300 '000 bpd in 2014 in the World according to EIA. This is 18.7 % less than in the previous year and -44.1 % less than 10 years ago.

Historically, total kerosene production reached an all time high of 2,308 '000 bpd in 1986 and an all time low of 742 '000 bpd in 1983. The average annual growth amounted to 1.29 % since 1980.

The top ranked country, Japan, accounted for 22.3 % of kerosene production in the world. The top 3 countries hold a 49.0 % share while the ten largest countries some 85.7 % in 2014.
