Based on a comparison of 144 countries in 2019, China ranked the highest in electricity production from hydro sources with 1,254,465 GWh followed by Brazil and Canada. On the other end of the scale was Benin with 0.100 GWh, Israel with 0.200 GWh and Turkmenistan with 0.300 GWh.
