Ivory Coast remains the biggest producer of cocoa beans in the World with 2,200 kt, or 39% of all beans supplied in 2021, followed by Ghana and Indonesia.
The top 3 countries held a 67.2 % share while the ten largest countries some 93.5 % in 2021.
Total cocoa bean production reached 5,580 kt in 2021 in the World according to
@FAOstat. This is 3.59 % less than in the previous year and 17.3 % more than 10 years ago.
The average annual growth amounted to 2.61 % since 1961.
