Based on a comparison of 44 countries in 2022, India ranked the highest in beeswax production with 24,594 tonnes followed by Ethiopia and Argentina. On the other end of the scale was Honduras with 10.8 tonnes, Zambia with 35.4 tonnes and East Timor with 40.0 tonnes.

Total beeswax production reached 65,063 tonnes in 2022 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.39 % more than in the previous year and 1.09 % more than 10 years ago.
