Based on a comparison of 39 countries in 2012, USA ranked the highest in thefts of private cars recorded by the police with 532,900 followed by Italy and France. On the other end of the scale was Azerbaijan with 34.0, Tajikistan with 48.0 and Singapore with 55.0.
