Based on a comparison of 55 countries in 2012, United Kingdom ranked the highest in number of sexual offences against children recorded by the police with 20,123 followed by France and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Tajikistan with 3.00, Montenegro with 7.00 and Albania with 18.0.
