Based on a comparison of 65 countries in 2011, Greece ranked the highest in number of maritime oil tankers with 43,883 vessels followed by Singapore and Malta. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 0.465 vessels, Lithuania with 1.62 vessels and Kenya with 2.07 vessels.
