Based on a comparison of 50 countries in 2016, Russia ranked the highest in killed in road traffic accidents per million of people with 145 persons followed by Georgia and India. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 25.7 persons, Switzerland with 26.2 persons and Norway with 26.2 persons.
