Based on a comparison of 135 countries in 2019, Puerto Rico ranked the highest in passenger cars per 1,000 people with 895 vehicles followed by Brunei and Luxembourg. On the other end of the scale was Ethiopia with 0.890 vehicles, Sudan with 1.26 vehicles and Burundi with 1.83 vehicles.
