Based on a comparison of 27 countries in 2015, France ranked the highest in diesel passenger cars as a percentage of total cars with 70.5% followed by Luxembourg and Lithuania. On the other end of the scale was United Kingdom with 4.29%, Cyprus with 12.4% and Switzerland with 27.0%.
