Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2009, Germany ranked the highest in telecommunication employees with 181,800 persons followed by France and Israel. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 1,323 persons, Malta with 1,865 persons and Cyprus with 3,178 persons.
