Based on a comparison of 29 countries in 2022, Latvia ranked the highest in alcohol consumption per capita with 12.2 litres followed by Lithuania and Czechia. On the other end of the scale was Turkey with 1.40 litres, Costa Rica with 3.50 litres and Mexico with 5.10 litres.
