Average production of cars per 1,000 people reached 8.86 vehicles in 2023 in the World according to ACEA. This is 8.97 % more than in the previous year and -3.98 % less than 10 years ago.
Historically, average production of cars per 1,000 people reached an all time high of 9.96 vehicles in 2017 and an all time low of 6.35 vehicles in 1998. The average annual growth amounted to 1.19 % since 1960.
