Based on a comparison of 14 banks in Vietnam in 2018, Vietnam Prosperity Bank had the most employees, followed by BIDV and VietinBank.

Vietnam Prosperity Bank employed 27,429 persons in 2018, up 15.1% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 27,429 persons in 2018 and an all time low of 3,548 in 2011.

Average cost reached VND 18,292,000 per month per month per employee, 3.35% more than a year ago.

Comparing Vietnam Prosperity Bank with its closest peers, BIDV had 25,416 employees with average cost of VND 29,114,400 per month per person, VietinBank operated with 24,197 people (and VND 25,895,400 per month per employee) and Sacombank had 18,818 employees in 2018 with cost VND 18,818 per month per head.
