At the end of 2016, mortgage loans represented 22.1% of Nova Ljubljanska banka's loan book.
Comparing Nova Ljubljanska banka with its closest peers, SKB Banka's mortgage loans amounted to EUR 705 mil at the end of 2016, Abanka Group operated with EUR 517 mil mortgage loans and Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Slovenia had a mortgage loan book of EUR 382 mil at the end of 2016.
Slovenian banking sector provided mortgage loans of EUR 5.72 mil in 2016, up 3.48% when compared to the previous year. As a result, the top ranked company - Nova Ljubljanska banka accounted for 27.1% of the sector’s mortgage loans in 2016. The top 3 companies hold a 48.5% share while the five largest firms some 61.5% in 2016.
