UniCredit Bank Slovenia employed 561 persons in 2016, down 6.50% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 609 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 391 in 2005.
Average cost reached EUR 3,566 per month per employee, 14.0% more than a year ago. This figure was EUR 2,623 per month some 10 years ago.
Staff accounted for 56.8% of total operating expenditures in 2016.
Comparing UniCredit Bank Slovenia with its closest peers, Sberbank Slovenia had 342 employees with average cost of EUR 3,500 per month per person, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Slovenia operated with 753 people (and EUR 3,094 per month per employee) and SKB Banka had 892 employees in 2016 with cost of EUR 3,050 per month per head.
The average staff cost per employee reached EUR 3,075 per month in the Slovenian banking sector in 2016.
