Nova Ljubljanska banka employed 6,175 persons in 2016, up 2.42% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 8,461 persons in 2008 and an all time low of 4,271 in 2000.
Average cost reached EUR 2,232 per month per month per employee, 1.04% less than a year ago. This figure was EUR 2,264 per month some 10 years ago.
Comparing Nova Ljubljanska banka with its closest peers, NKBM Group had 1,512 employees with average cost of EUR 2,838 per month per person, Abanka Group operated with 1,147 people (and EUR 2,961 per month per employee) and SKB Banka had 892 employees in 2016 with cost EUR 892 per month per head.
Slovenian banking sector employed 10,055 people in 2016. The average staff cost per employee reached EUR 3,075 per month.
