Postova Banka's cost to income ratio reached 44.9% in 2017, up from 38.0% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 100% in 2003 and an all time low of 38.0% in 2016.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2017, up from 1.77% a year earlier.
Comparing Postova Banka with its closest peers, VUB Banka operated in 2017 with a cost to income ratio of 48.8%, Privatbanka reached 49.4% and Slovenska Sporitelna some 49.7%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 45.2% in the Slovak banking sector in 2017.
