Based on a comparison of 17 banks in Serbia in 2017, Piraeus Bank Serbia was the best capitalised bank, followed by AIK Banka and Eurobank Serbia.
Piraeus Bank Serbia's capital adequacy ratio reached 33.3%, down from % when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 33.3% in 2017 and an all time low of 22.7% in 2015.
Comparing Piraeus Bank Serbia with its closest peers, AIK Banka ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 33.3%, Eurobank Serbia with 29.2% and Komercijalna Banka Beograd some 27.9% at the end of 2017.
