Bank Intesa Serbia employed 2,934 persons in 2017, down 3.23% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 3,200 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 2,028 in 2003.
Average cost reached RSD 161,944 per month per month per employee, 2.67% more than a year ago. This figure was RSD 76,209 per month some 10 years ago.
Comparing Bank Intesa Serbia with its closest peers, Komercijalna Banka Beograd had 2,806 employees with average cost of RSD 152,376 per month per person, OTP Bank Serbia operated with 2,103 people (and RSD 49,881 per month per employee) and Banka Postanska Stedionica had 1,996 employees in 2017 with cost RSD 1,996 per month per head.
Serbian banking sector employed 23,055 people in 2017. The average staff cost per employee reached RSD 153,564 per month.
