Bank Intesa Serbia employed 3,032 persons in 2016, up 0.731% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 3,200 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 2,028 in 2003.
Average cost reached RSD 157,725 per month per month per employee, 4.26% more than a year ago. This figure was RSD 61,030 per month some 10 years ago.
Comparing Bank Intesa Serbia with its closest peers, Komercijalna Banka Beograd had 2,858 employees with average cost of RSD 147,524 per month per person, Banka Postanska Stedionica operated with 1,724 people (and RSD 105,063 per month per employee) and Raiffeisenbank Serbia had 1,458 employees in 2016 with cost RSD 1,458 per month per head.
Serbian banking sector employed 23,847 people in 2016. The average staff cost per employee reached RSD 150,282 per month.
