Based on a comparison of 11 banks in Poland in 4Q2017, PKO BP had the most branches, followed by Alior Bank and Pekao.
PKO BP operated a network of 1,194 branches at the end of 4Q2017. That's compared to 1,233 branches some 10 years ago.
When compared to bank's main peers, Alior Bank operated a network of 905 branches in 4Q2017, Pekao had 851 branches and Santander Bank Polska had a network of 735 branches in 4Q2017.
Polish banks operated a network of 1,945 branches in 4Q2017. Total of 41,888 people worked for the banks in 4Q2017.
